**PE credits and/or Elective Credits can be earned by participating in any of these programs.**

 

FALL ATHLETICS

Flag Football (Coed): Students must be 19 or younger to participate. Students are expected to compete in local leagues. Practice is held at the Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Community Center.*
Boys/Girls Cross Country: Students must be 19 or younger to participate. Student athletes are expected to compete in local and regional XC meets

 

WINTER ATHLETICS

Boys Varsity Basketball: Students must be 19 or younger to participate. Students are expected to compete in local leagues and participate in several tournaments.
Varsity Basketball (Coed): Students must be 19 or younger to participate. Students are expected to compete in local leagues. Practice is held at the Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Community Center.*
Volleyball (Coed): Students must be 19 or younger to participate. Students are expected to compete in local leagues. Practice is held at the Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Community Center.*
Soccer (Coed): Students must be 19 or younger to participate. Students are expected to compete in local leagues and compete across the region.

 

SPRING ATHLETICS

Ultimate Frisbee (Coed) is a team sports club. Students are expected to compete in local leagues. Practice is held two (2) days a week at the Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Community Center.*

 

YEAR-ROUND ATHLETICS

– Fitness (Coed): Certified instructor teaches these 1-hour classes twice a week (9-10am Tuesday / Thursday). These classes are offered at the Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Community Center*.
Spirit Squad (Cheer Team): Meets one (1) day per week (Wednesday 12–1:30pm) inside the Kroc Center Dance Room.* The spirit team encompass basic strength training, cardiovascular workouts, and stretching with a certified instructor. Students on this team are expected to attend various sports games and support the Diego Hills Athletics teams.

 

(*) Athletics-related programs are held at the San Diego Kroc Community Center (unless stated otherwise), located about 1.5 miles from Diego Hills. Bus passes will be provided upon request.
